Our plastic-bonded SmCo (Samarium-Cobalt) magnets combine the excellent magnetic properties of SmCo material with the flexibility and durability of resin. These magnets are made from finely ground SmCo magnetic material and resin, shaped through injection molding or compression molding, achieving the highest form tolerances and eliminating the need for additional shaping processes.
These magnets offer high resistance to corrosion from environmental factors, ensuring their longevity and reliability under demanding conditions. With a remanence of 0.40 to 0.80 Tesla, they achieve about half the magnetic strength of NdFeB magnets. However, they still deliver solid performance, particularly in applications that do not require extreme magnetic fields.
The coercive field strength of 400 to 880 kA/m is about one-third that of NdFeB magnets, yet they provide impressive stability and magnetic force. SmCo magnets also have a low (negative) temperature coefficient and can operate at temperatures up to +250°C, making them ideal for applications requiring high temperature resistance. These magnets are well-suited for a variety of applications, including:
Electronics: Precise and reliable magnets for various electronic components
Medical technology: Dependable magnetic solutions for medical devices and diagnostic technologies
Automotive industry: Durable magnets for sensors and actuators in vehicles
Industrial applications: Robust magnets for use in temperature-challenged environments
For companies seeking precise and durable magnetic solutions, our plastic-bonded SmCo magnets offer numerous advantages. Their high dimensional accuracy and corrosion resistance ensure a long lifespan and reliable performance. The high temperature resistance of these magnets makes them the ideal choice for demanding applications. With our extensive expertise in magnet technology, we are committed to helping you execute your projects successfully and efficiently, overcoming your technical challenges.
